B&W Tilda with Love

Hello Everyone,

I hope you have all been well.  Here we have had a few things going on, but nothing major.  We have started our Aussie Winter here and didn't it start with a bang.  The first weekend of winter welcomed us with over 100mm of rain in about 36 hours.  Perfect weather to craft.... and to publish on my blog!!

I created this card with a birthday in mind.  I have a thing going at the moment with a black and white image and just adding a touch of colour.  I think that I like how the image stands out, becoming more of a focus.

For this creation I used.....
Magnolia Stamp - Tilda with Love
Papers - KaiserCraft Snapshot &
KaiserCraft Something Blue
Dies - Magnolia DooHickey Swirly Butterfly &
Spellbinders Labels Seventeen
Copics
Flowers - WOC
Glossy Accents

I would like to entre this card in the following......

Mother's Day Tilda

Hello Everyone,

I have been away from the craft for some time, and now have returned to hopefully a year full of fun with my crafting.  After a holiday I am feeling refreshed and full of inspiration.

With Mother's day soon upon us, I thought that my first creation for this year would be the first of my Mother's day cards for this year.  I love this Tilda Stamp, she is so beautiful to colour.

I used a few different layers on this card.  I recently purchased a new distressing tool, which I love using, it's so easy, so I have use that on the edges of my papers.

Here is a picture of the inside of the card.  I have used a thin strip of paper with distressed edges, just to link the inside to the front of the card.  I have also added a Mother's Day rub-on quote to finish the inside.

A close up of the flowers and bow, here you can see the beautiful butterfly a little better.

Tilda with Snow Heart

Hello Everyone,
So much has happened here since my last post, and not a lot of that was crafting.  My darling children are on holidays at the moment so the house is a hive of activity.  My eldest has recently competed in a group eisteddfod with her dance team, and competed for the first time with her duo routine.  I am so proud of her, there is know way I would be getting up on stage.  So very proud mummy here.
My darling son, he is a soccer fan, so last week he had training for 4 days.  He tried to convince me that it was this week to.... Gotta love him for his enthusiasm.
And my little monkey, we she has still been in her routine, but she is a rat bag at the best of times... She has become my little shadow, which is cute but when in a hurry, well that's another story.....

Enough with my little monkeys..... To craft!!!

Christmas is getting closer, at a rapid rate, or so it feels.  So with that in mind I decided to create some Christmas cards, before I run out of time.

I love this little Tilda image, and I have a thing at the moment for masking, so Christmas trees and Tilda with Snow Heart just had to go together.  I also used a new toy.  I found a snow marker pen and had a little play with it, adding a touch of snow to the trees and fence.
I have distressed the edges of the paper with ink, and the snowflake die.
